Arctic Wolf
Diet:
The Arctic wolf is a quaternary consumer, which means it is at the top of the food chain. It is a predator, but it does not become prey to other animals. The Arctic wolf eats Arctic hares, Arctic foxes, and lemmings. Its predator is humans, as humans are the top predators of all animals. The Arctic wolf is a carnivorous animal. After catching food, the female wolf will feed some small pieces of meat to the wolf pups. Wolves tend to hunt older or smaller animals. They have 42 teeth, which allow them to chew and swallow their food. The Arctic wolf struggles to find enough food because the Arctic region experiences many natural disasters, and humans indiscriminately kill animals, pushing many species to the brink of extinction.
